In response to the lack of medical facilities and the emphasis of carrying on the Olympic legacy through the introduction of sports, Healthy Reflections is a proposal for the local community of Hackney Wick, set on the edge of the River Lee Navigation. This complex includes zones for medical consultation, physiotherapy, a central garden connecting all users and sports leisure facilities in the form of swimming pools, sports halls and gyms. Being by the canal has been an inspiration to incorporate hydrotherapy facilities, using the water to cure and heal.

The development changes in hierarchy to adapt to spatial heights and needs. Roofs are carefully crafted to maximise daylight in awkward spaces and the materiality of both exterior and interior create a warm, humane approach for users to feel comfortable and wanting to be in the space.
