In response to the sudden need of social distancing, a multi-level restaurant is designed for our current and possible future situations. Two different programs are merged together to give my customers a choice to dine away or together with other people. Inspired by a dish from my childhood “Bao”. Three smooth curved walls extends from the ground creating pod-like spaces, up and out onto the facade. With a focus on utilising sunlight to create both a bright and playful atmosphere on the upper floor, as well as a more intimate atmosphere on the ground floor. Several light tunnels are placed with a few curved gaps on the upper floor to change the shape of the shadows.
