“Coffee Control” is a response to the evolution of what we generically understand as the library today. Coffee shops have become a central hub for meetings, to socialise and to study.

All of which are activities that are done in the library. My projects aim is to merge the uses and purpose of the library into the more comfortable and relaxed environment of the coffee shop- café, drawing inspiration and cultural accents from Columbian coffee culture and implementing this into the similar coffee culture of Hackney Wick.
