This proposal will provide more activities for people in the area, job opportunities and a better quality of life, making the area more visible, less dangerous and more inclusive. This betters the quality of life of the community living there.

The project is funded by the client themselves, ¬A/D/O by Mini. They hold the research programme Water Futures, from where the building takes its name and inspiration. It is an exploration into the ongoing relationship between drinking water and city life, and how design can help solve the global water crisis. The building proposal endorses this cause. Essentially, the design entitles for a mixed-use building, in which its activities work in synchrony to produce and appreciate potable water. More specifically, the design proposes for a water treatment and bottling plant, together with a café and office spaces.
