Looking at communities that live or have
their studio based in Hackney Wick, are facing the gentrification problem. Having
this as a major issue, my project will focus on creating affordable “micro”
studious in a new and more sustainable way. The site being located on the canal of Hackney, proposing a
building which will focus on developing and creating small scale structures
that could serve as house or studio. Once the structures are built, they will
be floating on the canal or could be placed anywhere in London.
